Key Responsibilities- Provide cost analysis and estimation services to clients, including the preparation of cost estimates and the monitoring of construction projects.
- Support senior team members in the preparation of cost reports, the development of cost estimates, and other essential tasks.
- Conduct site visits and prepare progress reports.
- Prepare and write cost reports in French and English.
- Analyze project progress and provide recommendations for improvement.
- 1-2 years of experience or more in cost estimation and/or cost control of construction projects.
- Degree in Estimation, Certificate in Construction Economics, Certificate in Construction Management, or equivalent.
- Member of RICS, AEÉCQ, ICÉC, LEED, or in the process of obtaining.
- Ability to analyze schedules and plans and provide cost estimates at all stages of a project.
- Knowledge of computer software, including Excel, Word, MS Project, Cost X, Estate Master, and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of industry-standard estimation methods (Masterformat, Uniformat, and ICÉC).
- Knowledge of health and safety standards on construction sites.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines, demonstrating a high level of initiative, integrity, honesty, and a strong work ethic.
