About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lifeguard to join our team at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services - CFMWS. As a Lifeguard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our military members and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality leisure programs and services to our members, including aquatic activities and safety training.
  • Ensure the safety of our members and their families by preventing accidents and responding to emergency situations.
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations, and provide clear instructions to swimmers and other users of our facilities.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement programs that promote recreation, fitness, and wellness among our members.
Requirements
  • Current National Lifeguard Service (NLS) certification.
  • Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification.
  • Experience in dealing with the public, including children, and performing lifeguard duties.
  • Excellent observational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to react and respond in emergency situations, and to provide clear instructions to others.
Language Requirements

French is an essential language for this role.
