We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Lifeguard - Recreation and Fitness Program Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and well-being of our members, while also providing quality leisure programs and services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide supervision and surveillance over swimmer safety
- Model and promote safe aquatic behaviors
- Provide positive public relations and respond to emergency situations
- Provide basic patron care and support
- Current National Lifeguard Service (NLS) certification (an asset)
- Ability to react and respond in emergency situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
French is an essential language for this role. We offer free second language training to support your language development.
Work EnvironmentThis is an on-site position with an assigned work location. You will be part of a dynamic team that contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation, and health promotion programs.
