About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychologist to join our team at Juniper Health. As a key member of our mental health services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Expert Therapy Services
    • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to clients with a range of mental health needs.
    • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address clients' unique challenges.
  • Counsel and Support Clients
    • Offer guidance and support to clients to help them achieve personal, social, and vocational development and adjustment.
    • Help clients manage physical illness and disorders, and provide education on healthy coping mechanisms.
  • Administer Assessments and Tests
    • Administer standard psychological tests to assess clients' mental health and develop a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
    • Interpret test results and provide detailed reports to inform treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues
    • Work closely with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to discuss client progress and develop effective treatment strategies.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Master's degree in Psychology or a related field.
    • Membership in a provincial or territorial psychological association.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in a mental health organization.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
    • Excellent assessment and treatment planning skills, with the ability to work with diverse client populations.
