Key Responsibilities- Provide Expert Therapy Services
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to clients with a range of mental health needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address clients' unique challenges.
- Counsel and Support Clients
- Offer guidance and support to clients to help them achieve personal, social, and vocational development and adjustment.
- Help clients manage physical illness and disorders, and provide education on healthy coping mechanisms.
- Administer Assessments and Tests
- Administer standard psychological tests to assess clients' mental health and develop a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
- Interpret test results and provide detailed reports to inform treatment plans.
- Collaborate with Colleagues
- Work closely with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to discuss client progress and develop effective treatment strategies.
- Education and Certification
- Master's degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Membership in a provincial or territorial psychological association.
- Experience and Skills
- Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in a mental health organization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent assessment and treatment planning skills, with the ability to work with diverse client populations.
