We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at First Hire inc. as an Industrial Electrical Technician. As an Electrical Maintenance Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
  • Equipment Installation: Install and test electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, and control systems.
  • Code Compliance: Interpret and apply electrical code specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Training and Development: Instruct apprentices and provide training on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance programs to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
Requirements
  • Education: Industrial Electrician Red Seal Certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in industrial electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
