We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team at 1628939 ONTARIO LTD. as a key member of our accounting department.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, balance sheets, and other accounting reports.
- Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST/HST and other relevant tax forms.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Skills: Proficiency in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
This is a permanent, full-time position with 40 hours of work per week. Public transportation is available.
