Pega Lead Software Engineer, Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support for Pega applications, including incident response, service requests, and problem analysis and resolution.
  • Assess application performance and collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for configuration and design improvements.
  • Apply analytical skills to understand the impact of infrastructure and technical changes on the environment.
  • Develop and provide estimates for development and infrastructure projects, including assistance in business case creation.
  • Certification and/or experience with Pega Platform version 8 and higher.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated application and production support experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle) or similar database technologies.
  • Experience with technologies such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, Java, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
  • Experience with System Development Life Cycle and Agile Methodologies.
  • Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science, related technology degree/diploma, or equivalent experience.

  • Background with ITIL Change Management and Release Management process.
