About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Engine Mechanic to join our team at Sunrise Freight Systems Inc. as a key member of our maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Diagnostics: Utilize computerized and other testing equipment to diagnose faults or malfunctions in diesel engines, determining the extent of repair required.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Test repaired equipment to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications and industry standards.
  • Maintenance and Servicing: Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work to prevent equipment downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Tool and Attachment Servicing: Service attachments and working tools to maintain their effectiveness and extend their lifespan.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in diesel engine maintenance and repair.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
