Job Summary

The Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers to ensure optimal performance and safety on the road. This includes diagnosing faults, adjusting equipment, and performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy duty truck repair
  • Permanent employment
  • Languages: English
  • Working hours: 40 to 50 hours per week

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience and location. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
