Family Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Ocean Pier Medical Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Consultation and Diagnosis: Evaluate patients' physical and mental health, and work with other medical practitioners to develop effective treatment plans.
- Medication Management: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed, and monitor patients' responses to ensure optimal care.
- Patient Education: Provide patients with clear and concise information about their health, and offer guidance on healthy lifestyle choices.
- Co-ordination of Care: Work with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and comprehensive care.
- Acute Care Management: Provide emergency care and stabilization for patients with acute medical conditions.
- Counselling and Support: Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a primary care setting.
- Certifications: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- Professional Liability Insurance: Eligible for professional liability insurance.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
