The Opportunity

We are seeking an Elevator Technician – Class A License to join our Elevator division in Halifax, Nova Scotia. If you are a passionate and dedicated individual with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install elevator systems and lifting devices
  • Assist in the efficient operation, testing, inspection, and preventative maintenance of elevators and lifting devices
  • Investigate problems related to the operation of elevators and lifts, and repair or replace defective components
  • Report and discuss equipment issues with operators to determine the nature of the malfunction
  • Manage company assets effectively, including parts inventory, tools, and test equipment
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers, contact persons, and end-users on site

Requirements

  • CAT Certified / Class A License
  • Clean Driver's abstract is essential
  • 2-3 years of related experience in elevator repair and maintenance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and completing jobs in residential homes and nursing homes
  • Willingness to travel throughout the province for installation or repair
