Senior Geotechnics Engineer Opportunity

Tony Gee and Partners is seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnics Engineer to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our geotechnical design team, you will be responsible for managing the design delivery of various geotechnical projects and providing technical oversight to junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage design delivery of geotechnical projects, including geotechnical elements of multi-disciplinary projects
  • Coordinate with international offices and other engineers to ensure technical excellence
  • Support the Managing Director in achieving budget and strategy targets
  • Prepare fee budgets, proposals, and resource requirements for projects
  • Develop and maintain geotechnical design standards and best practices
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in geotechnical design
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in geotechnical design for infrastructure projects in a rail environment
  • Experience in heavy civil geotechnical engineering applications, including foundations, deep excavations, and slope stability
  • Proficiency in computer software for geotechnical analysis
  • Production of design deliverables and supervision of engineers and technicians
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience working on Ministry of Transportation projects
  • AutoCAD skills
  • Peng license in Ontario with MEng/BEng in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical or Geological Engineering
