8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

Job Overview:

Quoting Responsibilities:

  • Generate and dispatch quotations to clients and Sales Representatives.
  • Utilize ERP Systems for creating Part Numbers, generating BOMs, and routing orders.
  • Analyze customer RFQs and propose optimal solutions while comprehending the application requirements.
  • Effectively communicate with clients regarding their inquiries and product specifications.

  • Regularly follow up with clients on submitted quotes and track their conversion into orders.
  • Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers for materials required for custom conveyor belt fabrication.
  • Compile reports on processed quotes.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office Suite and interpret technical drawings and measurement units in both imperial and metric systems.
  • Concentrate on promoting and selling core products.
  • Facilitate technical communication between management, production, sales departments, and clients regarding new techniques or practices in product utilization.

  • Inform clients about new product types, specifications, and potential applications.
  • Collaborate with Production and Quality Control to classify products from a quality assurance perspective and discuss new specifications required by clients.
  • Assist Quality Control in investigating customer complaints related to quality, tolerances, specifications, and product condition upon delivery.
  • Aid in the preparation and maintenance of customer records.
  • Maintain customer relationships and contacts.
  • Develop and sustain technical knowledge of products or services to explain features to clients and address inquiries.

Order Management Duties:

  • Responsible for generating invoices for all clients post-shipment.
  • Process customer order requests received via phone and email, ensuring follow-up on orders to meet delivery expectations.
  • Provide customer support through communication regarding Purchase Orders and Invoicing (pricing, general inquiries).
  • Enhance customer experience by efficiently managing order processing, confirming product availability, and shipping timelines.

  • Process order requests with precision and attention to detail.
  • Support clients with order inquiries and collaborate with other departments for accurate and timely responses.
  • Maintain company customer files and manage Accounts Receivable invoices and records.
  • Adhere to KPIs for performance tracking.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • OSSD or equivalent.
  • Sales Certificate or relevant experience is an asset.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Technical Inside Sales.
  • Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
  • Effective use of technology, instruments, tools, and information systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, teamwork, time management, and interpersonal skills.
