Job Title: Control Systems Engineer - PLC Specialist

Job Summary:

Strategic Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer - PLC Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining process control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop process control systems, PLC programs, and HMIs for new and existing research units.
  • Support clients and make significant contributions to complex projects under periodic supervision.
  • Make programming modifications and enhancements to existing PLCs.
  • Develop PLC programs and logic for new research unit construction.
  • Develop Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for new and existing research units.
  • Provide programming support for existing Yokogawa distributed control system (DCS).
  • Support the Process Control Network (PCN) infrastructure, network security, and backup systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues in the field and assist in training console operators.
  • Communicate regularly with operations, maintenance, and project services teams.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Control Systems Engineer or equivalent.
  • Expertise in process control systems and SCADA.
  • Expertise in PLCs and DCS.
