Corporate Communications Training Manager

Fixed Term Contract (18 months)

In the role of Corporate Communications Training Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the training initiatives for Corporate Communications, collaborating with Learning, Training, and Development, local law enforcement, and specialized national divisions to ensure the provision of high-quality communications training for Police Scotland and its partners.
  • Crafting and implementing effective training modules and hands-on training that align with the strategic objectives of Police Scotland, ensuring adherence to legal requirements while bolstering public trust.
  • Collaborating closely with fellow managers in Corporate Communications to ensure comprehensive understanding of all operational areas is integrated into the training offerings.
  • Serving as a knowledgeable advisor for senior personnel communicating publicly regarding investigations, local and national matters, and policy modifications, empowering them to respond confidently to media and stakeholders in accordance with our values and legal standards, while preserving public trust.
