Position: Vice President of Finance
This newly established position is part of a strategic succession planning initiative designed to enhance leadership capabilities within our growing organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President of Finance will lead all financial operations managed by a dedicated finance team of 40 professionals, fostering a corporate culture centered on continuous improvement and accountability.

The Vice President will serve as a seasoned and strategic business partner, overseeing all financial dimensions of our logistics and trucking operations. This role is critical in ensuring the financial well-being of the organization through precise planning, robust financial controls, and insightful analysis. A key responsibility will be to spearhead technological advancements and system modernization, ensuring we capitalize on shared resources, continuous improvement philosophies, and cutting-edge technology. As a hands-on financial authority, the Vice President will guarantee that Armour Transportation Systems possesses the necessary information and capabilities to meet its strategic goals while safeguarding the organization’s assets and financial integrity.

Location
This position requires on-site presence with occasional travel.

As The Ideal Candidate You
  • Hold a CPA designation along with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Bring a wealth of experience in progressively senior finance roles, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting, as well as expertise in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Are recognized for your ability to motivate and lead a high-performing finance team.
  • Possess experience in large, complex, cross-border operations, with a solid understanding of the trucking and logistics industry, including its trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Have a thorough grasp of GAAP, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
