Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain an ESG reporting strategy that provides transparency, aligns with regulatory requirements, and supports Alcoa's business priorities and stakeholder needs.
  • Engage with external stakeholders to gain insight on emerging ESG risks and opportunities, and upcoming regulatory changes.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal business partners to coordinate and consolidate accurate and timely ESG disclosure reports.
  • Oversee data collection and prepare submissions to ESG ratings and research firms.
  • Manage inquiries and requests from customers, investors, ratings agencies, and others regarding ESG-related matters.
  • Provide expertise and support in preparing for future regulatory frameworks and disclosure requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (sustainability, environment, social performance, or other).
  • ~8 years+ relevant experience in an ESG-related field or function.
  • Proven success guiding strategy and managing multiple ESG/sustainability/CSR projects.
  • Ability to identify ESG disclosure performance gaps and communicate risks and opportunities.
  • Expertise in program management, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to independently prioritize shifting workloads.
