About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Painter and Decorator Helper at International Globe Painting Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our painters and decorators with various tasks related to construction and site maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: You will be responsible for loading and unloading construction materials, ensuring they are properly secured and transported to the site.
  • Erecting and Dismantling Site Equipment: You will assist in the erection and dismantling of scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Mixing and Applying Materials: You will help mix and apply materials such as concrete and asphalt, ensuring they are properly prepared and applied.
  • Cleaning and Piling Materials: You will be responsible for cleaning and piling salvaged materials, ensuring they are properly stored and maintained.
  • Spill Response and Debris Removal: You will assist in responding to chemical spills and removing rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Machine Operation: You will tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring they are properly maintained and operated.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You must be physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy materials, and working in various weather conditions.
