  • Transportation and Logistics
    • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
    • Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations to ensure efficient route planning.
    • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Safety
    • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
    • Perform emergency roadside repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Communication and Record-Keeping
    • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
    • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption for accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Weight Handling and Personal Suitability
    • Handle weights exceeding 45 kg (100 lbs) with ease and efficiency.
    • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, organized approach, and excellent oral communication to effectively interact with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.
