As a key member of the management team, you will lead KPMG's audit teams, ensuring the application of appropriate accounting practices and methodologies for our clients. Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage client audits.Lead the audit process from planning through to the completion of financial statements.Engage with the practice group to support the implementation of the business strategy.Collaborate with members of the assurance management team to achieve the objectives of the assurance financial plan.Guide, train, and mentor audit personnel.Implement KPMG's audit and accounting methodologies in client engagements.Qualifications
Possession of a Canadian CPA designation or an equivalent international qualification.A minimum of 5 years of experience in a public practice accounting environment.Prior experience with IFRS, particularly with publicly listed clients.Experience with large integrated audits is considered a plus.Strong client service skills with the ability to understand clients' businesses and foster robust client relationships.Capability to manage competing demands and priorities, driven by a commitment to high standards of client service.Demonstrated history of building a client base and generating revenue.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative team player, and meticulous attention to detail.Experience in a professional accounting firm is essential.Compensation Information
In British Columbia, the anticipated base salary range for this role is $58,000 to $90,000, with potential eligibility for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's salary within this range is influenced by their location, skills, competencies, and unique qualifications. Additionally, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
