As part of the management team, you'll lead KPMG audit teams and ensure the implementation of accurate accounting practices and methodologies for our clients. Clients will rely on your expertise to add value to their businesses throughout the audit engagement. What You'll Do
- Supervise and manage client audits.
- Oversee the audit process from planning to the completion of financial statements.
- Contribute to the practice group by assisting in the implementation of the business plan.
- Collaborate with members of the assurance management group to achieve the goals outlined in the assurance financial plan.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to audit staff.
- Apply KPMG's established audit and accounting practices/methodologies on client engagements.
What You Bring to the Role
- Canadian CPA designation or an internationally recognized equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience working with a public accounting firm.
- Proven experience utilizing IFRS while working with publicly listed clients.
- Exposure to large-scale integrated audits is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional client service skills, coupled with the ability to understand clients' businesses to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing demands and priorities, driven by your dedication to achieving high standards of client service.
- A proven track record of building a client base and generating revenue.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you are a strong team player with meticulous attention to detail.
- Professional accounting firm experience is essential.
