We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Superintendent to join our team at Panthera Building Corp.
Job Summary:The Building Superintendent will be responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of our apartment/condominium complex. This includes supervising other workers, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring the property is safe and secure.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs. Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Supervision: Supervise other workers and ensure they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
- Security and Safety: Perform safety and security checks, and ensure the property is secure and safe for residents and staff.
- Customer Service: Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants, and provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair equipment such as carpet cleaning machines, waxing machines, and power tools.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Ability to work under pressure, repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
