Glass Installer

Flynn Canada Ltd. is seeking a skilled Glass Installer to join our team. As a Glass Installer, you will be responsible for installing glass products, including windows, doors, and other glass structures, in various locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
- Measure, mark, and cut glass to ensure precise fits
- Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring proper alignment and sealing
- Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
- Install door and window hardware, including handles and hinges
- Instruct apprentices on proper installation techniques
- Prepare shop drawings and specifications for each project
- Repair glass doors and other glass structures as needed
- Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in glass installation
- Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
