Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpet Installation Specialist to join our team at K-Town Carpets and Flooring Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing high-quality carpeting on floors, walls, and other surfaces. Your attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently will be essential in delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered, measure and mark them accurately, and prepare them for installation.
  • Install Carpeting: Measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors, walls, and other surfaces, ensuring a precise fit and a professional finish.
  • Prepare Tenders and Quotations: Prepare detailed tenders and quotations for clients, including estimates of costs and materials required.
  • Inspect and Repair Damaged Floor Coverings: Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Conduct Pre-Installation Tests: Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations to ensure a successful outcome.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials: Estimate costs and materials required for each installation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare Floors for Installations: Prepare floors for installations, including removing existing floor coverings and contaminants.
  • Install Carpeting on Walls and Other Surfaces: Install carpeting on walls and other surfaces, ensuring a precise fit and a professional finish.
  • Perform Direct Glue-Down and Double-Bond Carpet Installations: Perform direct glue-down and double-bond carpet installations, ensuring a strong and durable finish.
  • Install Outdoor Carpets: Install outdoor carpets, ensuring they meet our high standards and provide a durable and long-lasting finish.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints and Specifications: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
