Position Overview

The Assistant Store Manager collaborates closely with the Store Manager to foster a cooperative atmosphere that values inclusion and nurtures positive interactions. To drive the store's success, they guide the team towards achieving sales and profitability objectives. Additionally, they play a key role in recruitment, performance evaluation, training, and staff development. Adaptability to various situations, environments, challenges, tasks, and flexible work schedules is crucial for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the store meets corporate objectives and achieves key performance metrics.
- Lead the store by effectively distributing tasks related to company policies, loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
- Assist in recruiting, managing, developing, and training enthusiastic candidates focused on sales, customer service, and fashion.
- Execute merchandising strategies while maintaining a clean, consistent, and inviting atmosphere that encourages customer engagement.
- Establish open lines of communication with the Store Manager and District Manager.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of experience in a leadership role or as a supervisor in a customer-centric environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and achieve outstanding sales results.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is advantageous.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
