About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House Milton. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our discerning guests.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that our kitchen is well-stocked and running smoothly.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and taste dishes to ensure that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop our kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge, and to ensure that they are equipped to provide exceptional service to our guests.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced and physically demanding work environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player.
Work Conditions

This is a permanent full-time position, working 30 to 35 hours per week. The work language is English.
