Application Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Architect to join our Global Fraud Authentications Technology team at Scotiabank.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for defining, designing, and developing the detailed architecture for applications as required based on project requirements.
They will work closely with enterprise architecture, other solutions, application, data, security, and infrastructure architects to ensure solutions design aligns with Bank's standards, policies, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Define and design detailed application architecture
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions design meets business needs
- Ensure quality of solutions are robust, scalable, and efficient
- Collaborate with technology partners to drive global technology delivery
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in computer engineering, business, information sciences, or a related field.
They will also have 7+ years of experience in requirements analysis, cloud back-end and front-end design, development, implementation, release, and deployment, as well as experience in big data cloud architecture.
