Job Title: Application Architect

We are seeking an experienced Application Architect to join our Global Fraud Authentications Technology team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and developing the detailed architecture for applications as required based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with enterprise architecture, other solutions, application, data, security, and infrastructure architects to ensure solutions design aligns with Bank's standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Ensure quality of solutions are robust, scalable, and efficient to meet the needs of the business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver core business and regulatory solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer engineering, business, Information sciences, or other related field.
  • Java Developer with around 7+ years of experience in Requirements Analysis, Cloud Back-end & Front-End Design, Development, Implementation, release & deployment, and cloud implementation.
  • Experience in Big Data Cloud Architecture, working with batch data processing, real-time message ingestion, stream processing in hybrid cloud ecosystems (cloud & on-premise).
