Job Title: Construction Worker

Rafat General Contracting is seeking a skilled Construction Worker to join our team. As a Construction Worker, you will be responsible for assisting skilled tradespersons and performing various tasks on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Pave and rake asphalt
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Clean and maintain sidewalks, streets, roads, and public grounds
Work Environment:

As a Construction Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. You must have excellent physical capabilities, including manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.

  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: Will train
  • Language: English
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
