We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Aztec Structural Restoration Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.

Job Summary:

The Construction Laborer will be responsible for assisting in the construction and maintenance of buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects. This role will involve a variety of tasks, including loading and unloading materials, operating heavy equipment, and performing manual labor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with heavy equipment
  • Experience in construction or a related field
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
