Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Ustaad G 76 Kamloops. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.
Job Summary:The Kitchen Helper will assist in the preparation and presentation of food, maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:- Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
- Set tables and bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas.
- Portion and wrap foods, and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sharpen kitchen knives.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
This is a fast-paced environment that requires physical stamina and the ability to multitask. The successful candidate will be able to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
