Job Title: Network System Specialist

Job Summary:

Eramosa Engineering Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Network System Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Systems Technology Team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our industrial IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement wide area networks, local area networks, wireless networks, and fibre infrastructure
  • Configure network equipment, including switches, firewalls, DMZs, and routers
  • Implement routing protocols, such as RIPv2 and OSPF
  • Support internal services, including Microsoft Windows Servers, Ubuntu Linux, and Microsoft Exchange
  • Develop and implement corporate cloud-based strategies

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in network design and implementation
  • Strong knowledge of network equipment and routing protocols
  • Experience with virtualization, including VMWare and cloud-based computing
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
