Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Flavors & Spices Inc. as a Pastry Artisan. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing dough, batters, and icings for various baked goods, as well as supervising baking personnel and kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough, batters, and icings for pies, bread, rolls, sweet goods, muffins, cookies, cakes, and other baked products according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
  • Train staff on new recipes, techniques, and equipment.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and organization.
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods to ensure maximum visibility and appeal.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a bakery or related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
