Job Title: Resident Care Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Aide to join our team at SIENNA-BALTIC LAKEVIEW INC. As a Resident Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Job Summary:

The Resident Care Aide will be responsible for providing personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring residents. Additionally, you will be required to maintain a safe and clean environment, including laundry and housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring residents
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including laundry and housekeeping duties
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident's condition to the supervisor
  • Participate in resident care planning and implementation
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Nursing Aide Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Immunization records
  • Vulnerable sector check
  • Tuberculosis test
Work Environment:

The Resident Care Aide will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending. The position requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
