Position Overview:
As a Corporate Governance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Corporate Secretariat in all aspects related to the Corporation's Board of Directors and its Committees. Your responsibilities will encompass the development and coordination of Board and Committee agendas, meeting documentation, work plans, and action items.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the onboarding, training, and offboarding processes for Directors.
• Oversee the corporate policy review cycle and ensure compliance with established guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with the Board Administrator to plan and execute all Board and Committee meetings.
• Engage regularly with the Board of Directors, senior management, and governance team members from other federal regulators and Crown corporations.

Essential Qualifications:
• A degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in assisting a corporate secretary or providing board support.
• At least 3 years' experience in the financial sector or within federal public service/Crown corporations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal Crown corporation requirements.

Skills and Competencies:
• Extensive administrative experience with proven ability to take accurate meeting minutes.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with senior officials, demonstrating tact and discretion.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with fluency in both French and English being an asset.
• Familiarity with project management and planning skills would be advantageous.

Language Requirements:
This position requires bilingual proficiency.
