We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide life skills training, coaching, advocacy, information, and support services to clients experiencing mental health, behavioral, and developmental problems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide interventions focused on specific skills training and support needs of clients, including relapse prevention, community adjustment, and employment skills.
- Facilitate client empowerment and competency development within the four domains of psychosocial rehabilitation (personal life, education, leisure, and work).
- Monitor client goal attainment, proactively assist individuals in averting potential crises, and report client status and progress to the Case Coordinator or multidisciplinary team.
- Coordinate, plan, promote, arrange, facilitate, and evaluate specialized PSR programs, such as Clubhouses, Supportive Housing, and Vocational Support Programs.
