Food Safety and Quality Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Packaging Supervisor to join our team at Om Canpacific International Inc. as a key member of our production team.
Key Responsibilities- Food Safety and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food production processes are conducted in a safe and sanitary manner, minimizing hazards at all stages.
- Staff Training and Development: Train and develop staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a high level of competence and compliance.
- Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, and disciplinary measures to ensure the right people are in the right roles.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze production and other reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize productivity.
- Process Improvement: Recommend measures to improve productivity, product quality, and efficiency throughout the production process.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers to ensure smooth production and meet work schedules.
- Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support production operations.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- Work Schedule: 32 to 35 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
