Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Product Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, understand, and improve business and product challenges facing Match Group. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality strategic and tactical analysis, driving business decisions, and informing product strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide in-depth quantitative analyses to stakeholders, including executives, product managers, and engineering managers, to inform business decisions and drive product strategy.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance our analytics framework and lead stakeholders in adopting new methodologies and frameworks.
- Quantitatively analyze user behavior to inform product development and drive business decisions, including A/B test learnings.
- Take ownership of complex analytical assignments and deliver high-quality results.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in quantitative analysis, with a strong focus on business insights and recommendations.
- Strong understanding of business problems and opportunities, with the ability to size and prioritize initiatives.
- Proven technical data analytics skills, with experience working with large datasets and complex data systems.
- Experience with web/digital analytics metrics, including Daily Active Users, Retention, and Churn.
- Understanding of statistical concepts, including confidence intervals, normal distribution, correlation, linear regression, and multivariate testing.
- Proficiency with SQL or other query languages, with experience working with data visualization tools.
- Strong experience with A/B test analysis and data-driven decision making.
- Experience with Python or a willingness to learn.
