Join National Bank's Wealth Management team as a Portfolio Manager and take on a challenging role that requires expertise in portfolio management and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
About the Role:As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, developing and improving the UMA platform, and participating in the UMA investment committee. You will work closely with senior analysts, coach and mentor them, and resolve issues and problems encountered by platform users.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage client accounts and develop investment strategies to meet their goals and risk tolerance
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the UMA platform and UMA management mandates
- Participate in the UMA investment committee and provide expert advice on investment decisions
- Coach and mentor senior analysts and provide guidance on portfolio management best practices
- Resolve issues and problems encountered by platform users and implement solutions
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in finance or a related discipline
- Six (6) years of relevant experience in portfolio management or a related field
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH)
- CFA or CIM certification
- Excellent knowledge of financial markets and the financial advisory industry for individuals
- Familiarity with National Bank's products, systems, and services is desirable
