Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Canada Inc.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and supervising a team of food service staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet demand.
- Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
- Work Schedules: Establish work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately staffed and that tasks are completed efficiently.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a physically demanding role. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service role.
- Language: English.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
