About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at 2057600 ONTARIO INC. as a key member of our maintenance crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fluid Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as adding or replacing hydraulic and transmission fluids to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Assistance and Support: Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed to ensure seamless workflow and efficient operations.
  • Engine Maintenance: Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment to prevent wear and tear.
  • Component Replacement: Install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, or radiators to maintain equipment integrity.
  • On-Site Services: Provide on-site services to customers, ensuring prompt and reliable support.
  • Tire Repair: Repair and balance tires to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation.
  • Filter Replacement: Replace oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment to maintain optimal performance.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail in all tasks to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Physical Demands: Perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular 35-hour week, with a permanent work term.
  • Language: Work in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
