Job Title: Heavy Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at SouthX Transport Inc. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting heavy equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing faults using computerized and other testing equipment, and performing repair work on heavy trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect heavy equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Order parts and maintain inventory
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance
  • Physical demands of the job include bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination are essential
  • Overtime may be required
