About the Role

Falcon Motor Xpress Group of Companies Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation network, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely and Efficiently: Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload Cargo: Safely load and unload goods at designated locations, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Communication and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and communicate effectively with central dispatch and other stakeholders.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo at all times, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: AZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and a valid driver's license.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a long haul truck driver is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, as well as work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
