Key Responsibilities:
Formulate and execute a communication strategy for grower clients, ensuring they receive pertinent, timely, and precise information regarding agronomy, products, and services offered by the Co-operative. Offer expert agronomic insights and recommendations on seed selection, pest detection and management, and, when relevant, crop nutrition, empowering our grower clients to make knowledgeable choices. Conduct on-site activities such as field scouting and soil analysis as necessary, and relay findings effectively to grower clients. Serve as a bridge between our clients and suppliers, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.Importance of the Role:
Our team delivers a variety of products and services designed to support our member-owners. Through our efforts, we contribute to the development, sustenance, and growth of communities across Western Canada.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
You are pursuing a career in Agriculture and possess:
A Degree or Diploma in agriculture or a related discipline. Registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant provincial Professional Institute of Agrology. The capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a driven team. A creative and resourceful mindset. Strong verbal and written communication skills. A valid Driver's License. A Certified Crop Advisor designation is an advantage.
