Job Title: HR Technician

Meadow Lake Tribal Council is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of HR Technician. This full-time, permanent role is responsible for providing technical and clerical support to the HR team in areas such as recruitment, hiring, compensation, and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with recruitment and staffing activities for entry-level, professional, and technical job openings
  • Provide clerical and technical support for HR activities, including records management and filing
  • Develop and provide recommendations for policies and processes as necessary
  • Provide general information and assistance internally and externally over the phone, electronically, and in person
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
  • One to two years' work experience in Human Resources and/or Administration in a high-paced office environment
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
  • Certificate/Diploma in the field of HR or Administration from a recognized institute (preferred)
