About the Role

As a Senior Financial Advisor at Scotiabank, you will play a critical role in helping our customers achieve their financial goals. We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for our customers, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
  • Provide expert advice on investment and borrowing solutions, as well as day-to-day banking services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their financial situations and providing tailored solutions.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in a financial services role, with a strong understanding of investment and borrowing products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Relevant certifications, such as a Mutual Funds license and CIFP Diploma.
