Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Labourer to join our team at Eco Friendly M. This role involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance and construction, ensuring that our outdoor spaces are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the construction of landscape features.
  • Secure and tie plants effectively.
  • Perform weeding, pruning, and trimming of trees and plants.
  • Maintain lawns by cutting grass and raking leaves.
  • Remove litter and debris from designated areas.
  • Transport and distribute topsoil and other landscaping materials.
  • Lay sod or seed as required.
  • Plant various flora including bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on landscaping equipment.
  • Water and care for plants, lawns, and gardens.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance machinery.
Equipment Proficiency
  • Experience with pick-up trucks.
  • Familiarity with small engine equipment.
  • Knowledge of weed trimmers and edgers.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Physically demanding tasks requiring manual dexterity.
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Capability to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed.
Required Equipment
  • Steel-toed safety boots are mandatory.
