Position Overview

As a Computer Network Technician at Mr Fix Computers Ltd, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our computer networks. Your expertise will ensure seamless connectivity and efficient operations across various systems.

Qualifications
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a related field
Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate access and utilization of computer networks
  • Install and configure software applications
  • Set up web server hardware and software
  • Load printers with necessary paper and forms
  • Administer, troubleshoot, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and mainframe networks
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with web server hardware and software
  • Provide technical support to network users
  • Implement security protocols for data, software, and hardware
  • Conduct routine network operations and maintain documentation
  • Perform data backups and execute disaster recovery plans
  • Utilize network monitoring software to enhance performance and security
  • Modify web pages, applets, and scripts as needed
  • Execute web server backup and recovery tasks
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in information technology
  • Knowledgeable in software development
  • Familiar with MS Office and MS Windows
  • Experience with WordPerfect
