About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dietitian to join our team at Baptist Housing. As a Dietitian, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal nutritional care of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Provide ongoing follow-up and guidance to the Food Services Department to ensure adherence to nutritional and therapeutic requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Food Services team to establish and maintain comprehensive records.
  • Champion a nutrition and food services audit program in alignment with the Medical Health Officer's standards.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and provide education to team members on nutrition and food services best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition from a recognized university.
  • Dietetic internship from an accredited program.
  • Current full registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia (CDBC) and registration with Restricted Activities A and B.
  • Two years of recent related long-term care experience or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
  • Member of or eligible for membership in the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management.
  • Food Safe Certificate.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
