About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our team at Baptist Housing. As a Dietitian, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal nutritional care of our residents. Your expertise will be essential in conducting assessments, providing ongoing follow-up, and offering professional guidance to the Food Services Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and assess residents' nutritional needs
  • Foster an environment that upholds residents' autonomy, independence, dignity, and privacy
  • Collaborate with the Food Services team to establish and maintain comprehensive records
  • Champion a nutrition and food services audit program in alignment with the Medical Health Officer's standards
  • Provide guidance on nutrition, swallowing disorders, caloric intake, and more

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition from a recognized university
  • Dietetic internship from an accredited program
  • Current full registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia (CDBC) and registration with Restricted Activities A and B
  • Two years of recent related long-term care experience or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
  • Member of or eligible for membership in the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management
  • Food Safe Certificate
  • Current First Aid Certificate

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range is $40.75 to $50.87 per hour. You will be welcomed into a warm and supportive work environment where you can thrive both personally and professionally.
